Delete your Footing account

Footing is made by Folkware (ABN 69 340 390 198). You can delete your account yourself, in the Footing app or on the web, at any time.

In the app or on the web

1. Sign in at app.getfooting.com.au or in the Footing app.
2. Open the menu with your name on it and choose Your account.
3. Under Delete account, tap the delete button, type DELETE, and confirm.

Without signing in

Email hello@getfooting.com.au from the address you sign in with and ask us to delete your account. We’ll confirm it’s you and do it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in is deleted straight away. You can’t sign in with that email again unless you’re invited back or sign up afresh.
• If you’re the only admin of your business’s workspace, deleting your account closes the workspace: its subscription ends, everyone in it loses access, and all its data is deleted 90 days later.
• If you work for a business that uses Footing, the business keeps the records you made for it, such as timesheets, site diaries and signed safety forms. It controls those records and may have to keep them by law; ask the business if you want them changed.
• Financial and tax records we must keep by law are kept for as long as the law requires, then deleted. See our privacy policy for details.
